What is Bartering?
Bartering is the exchange of goods or services for other goods or services of equal value instead of cash.
Bartering is a win / win situation, but it is not always easy to find the one person that needs your goods
or services at the same time you need theirs.
For this reason we are starting a local barter network for the Vanderhoof, Fort St. James, Fort Fraser,
and Fraser Lake, with the opportunity to expand into Prince George in the near future.
How does BarterNow work?
- You become a member of the barternow.ca network.
- You list your goods or services at market value.
- Other people buy your goods or services
- You earn barter dollars
- You spend your barter dollars within the network to get what you need and when you need it
We do want the network to be a success from the beginning, so we are waiting until we have
100 members until we fully launch the site. By this time, we feel we will have a valuable
trading base and will then launch the website. Currently, the website is still under development.
If you sign up today, you are not charged anything. We will open your account for you,
and deposit $200 Barter Dollars into your account. This is a 2-for-1 special we are carrying
over from the tradeshow until we have 100 members. We will then contact you to pay your $99.00
membership fee, and you are ready to go and spend your Barter Dollars and list your goods and services.
